Econ 2010: Principles of Micreconomics

Introduction to microeconomics for those considering economics as a major and those who have to successfully complete this course to get into the business school.

Microeconomics models the behaviors of economic agents (individuals, firms, governments, and other institutions) and how they interact through markets and other mechanisms.

My version of Introduction to Microeconomics leans towards theory, model building, and critical thinking. It all depends on what the model assumes.

My theoretical interest is individual behavior and choice (why we buy what we do and why we do what we do).

My applications are to environmental, recreational, and health choices. E.g. willingness-to-pay for less pollution, recreational choice choice (skiing, biking, fishing),  and medical-treatment choice (malaria, depression, etc.)
